Dr. Christopher Olson is a board-certified obstetrician & gynecologist.
While managing the practice with the medical director, Dr. Olson is also a clinical assistant professor at Loyola University. Senior residents train at the Women’s Center for Health under his supervision in office-based procedures and family planning. In addition to his private practice, he sits on two advisor panels and preceptors for several medical product companies. This has lead to a busy travel schedule lecturing to doctors throughout the country in the use of new surgical technologies.
Prior to joining the Women’s Center for Health, Dr. Olson spent two years in private practice performing gynecologic cancer surgery with a GYN Oncologist. His two-year surgical internship at the University of Iowa’s affiliated program in Des Moines prepared him for this transition. He served as Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in obstetrics and gynecology and earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1986. Dr. Olson received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1982. He currently resides in Naperville with his wife, and daughter.
